Frequently Asked Questions

What does certified refurbished mean?
A certified refurbished computer is a pre-owned (usually ex-corporate) machine that has been professionally tested, cleaned, repaired where needed and graded before resale, and comes with a warranty. Our A-Grade units pass a strict check on both performance and cosmetic condition.

Why buy refurbished instead of new?
You get a business-grade laptop or desktop, built for years of daily office use, for much less than a new one - often for the price of a new budget consumer laptop. It is also better for the environment, because a working computer is reused instead of scrapped.

Do refurbished computers have a warranty?
Yes. Every refurbished computer from Web Direct is backed by a Web Direct warranty - up to 24 months on refurbished laptops.
