Refurbished Grading & Warranty Explained

Every refurbished and ex-demo laptop and desktop we sell is checked before it is listed. Here is exactly what our grades and warranty mean, so you know what you are getting before you pay a cent.

A-Grade Certified Refurbished

Fully function-tested: screen, keyboard, trackpad, ports, Wi-Fi, webcam, speakers, battery charging and storage are all checked.
Cosmetic condition: clean, with light signs of previous use at most (for example faint marks on the lid or base). No cracked screens, missing keys or broken hinges.
Ready to use: professionally cleaned, with a fresh Windows installation and a charger in the box.
Warranty: a 12-month Web Direct warranty as standard, or 24 months where the product page says so.

Ex-Demo

Recent-generation display or demo units, often only lightly used, at a big saving on new.
Fully function-tested and cleaned before dispatch.
Warranty is shown on each product page: a 12-month warranty, or the remaining manufacturer warranty where stated.

Our promise on every refurbished and ex-demo order

7-day dead-on-arrival (DOA) cover: if your unit is faulty when it arrives, tell us within 7 days and we will arrange a free courier collection and repair, replace or refund it.
7-day cooling-off: changed your mind? You can return it within 7 days of delivery (see our Returns Policy).
Warranty claims: WhatsApp or email us. We assess the unit, then repair it, replace it, or refund you if neither is possible.
No payment upfront: we confirm your exact unit before you pay. How ordering works.

Battery

Batteries are consumable parts, and their runtime on a used laptop varies from unit to unit. Every battery we sell charges and holds a working charge. If you need a specific runtime, WhatsApp us before you order and we'll tell you how the exact unit you're buying performs.
