What is an ex-demo laptop?
An ex-demo (demo) laptop is a recent-model laptop that was used for demonstrations or on display, or opened and returned without real use. It is not a high-mileage used laptop: most ex-demo units are close to new, and they sell at a big discount to the new price.

Is an ex-demo laptop the same as a refurbished laptop?
No. Refurbished laptops are usually older business laptops that came off company leases and were professionally refurbished. Ex-demo laptops are newer models with very little use. Both are good value; ex-demo gives you a newer machine, refurbished gives you the lowest price.

Do ex-demo laptops come with a warranty?
Yes. Every ex-demo laptop from Web Direct is backed by a 12-month Web Direct warranty.

What condition are ex-demo laptops in?
Each laptop is tested and graded A-Grade before sale. Some may show very light signs of display use; the listing describes the unit you will receive.

How does delivery and payment work?
Delivery is free anywhere in South Africa on orders of R3,000 and over (R99 on smaller orders). There is no payment upfront: we confirm stock, then send you an invoice to pay by EFT.
