Built for Busy Modern Homes

The dedicated 2.5Gb WAN port ensures your internet connection isn’t limited by older Gigabit-only hardware. Whether you’re using fibre, fixed wireless or planning to upgrade your broadband package in future, this router is built to keep up. Combined with advanced Wi-Fi 7 technology, the BE6500 delivers smoother 4K streaming, faster downloads and lower latency when multiple devices are online at the same time. Whether it’s competitive gaming in one room, 4K Netflix in another, or video meetings running alongside smart home devices, it’s designed to handle the real-world demands of a busy, connected home without slowdowns.

Performance You’ll Notice Every Day

With speeds of up to 5765Mbps on the 5GHz band, the BE6500 is well-suited for high-demand activities such as competitive gaming, 4K and even 8K streaming, and large file transfers. The 2.4GHz band provides 688Mbps, offering stable connectivity for everyday browsing, smart TVs, security cameras and other smart home devices that rely on consistent signal strength. Support for Multi-Link Operation (MLO) and 160MHz channels allows the router to manage traffic more efficiently, helping to reduce congestion during peak evening hours when everyone is online. Instead of performance dropping under pressure, the network remains stable and responsive. For users upgrading from Wi-Fi 5 or Wi-Fi 6, the improvement in speed handling and device management is both practical and noticeable.

Strong Wired and Wireless in One Device

While wireless performance is essential, wired stability remains important for certain devices. The BE6500 includes four Gigabit LAN ports, allowing gaming PCs, consoles, smart TVs and network storage devices to stay connected via reliable wired links. This reduces wireless congestion and provides lower latency for devices that benefit from a direct connection. At the same time, the powerful Wi-Fi 7 capability ensures mobile devices, laptops and smart home equipment receive fast and stable wireless coverage throughout the home. The result is a balanced network setup where wired and wireless devices work together efficiently, rather than competing for bandwidth.

Reliable Hardware with Practical Security

At the heart of the router is a 2.0GHz quad-core Broadcom processor supported by 512MB of RAM, giving it the capacity to manage heavy traffic loads without freezing, lagging or requiring frequent restarts. This ensures consistent performance even when many devices are connected at once. On the security side, the BE6500 supports WPA3 encryption, includes a built-in SPI firewall and DoS protection, and provides full VPN server and client functionality for secure remote access or private browsing. Guest Wi-Fi allows visitors to connect without accessing your main network, while parental controls offer added oversight for family environments. It’s a practical combination of performance and protection designed for everyday use.
