Frequently asked questions

IP or analogue CCTV?
IP cameras give higher resolution and simpler PoE cabling; analogue (DVR) systems are cheaper to upgrade on existing coax.

How many megapixels do I need?
2MP for general coverage, 4MP+ for identifying faces and number plates.

Will CCTV work during load shedding?
Yes, if the NVR, switch and cameras are on a UPS or inverter.
